Answers to common questions — and how to reach us.

How do I play?

Drag a line from a dot to the other dot of the same colour. Lines can't cross or go through other dots. A level is solved when every pair is connected and every cell is filled.

How do stars work?

1 star for solving a level, 2 stars for solving it with the minimum number of moves, and 3 stars for doing that without a hint. Stars unlock new packs.

How do hints work?

A hint draws the correct line for one colour. You start with 3 free hints; you can watch a short ad for another one, buy hint bundles in the Store, or get unlimited hints with Dotto Premium.

I bought something but it's missing

Open Store › Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it. Hint bundles are added as soon as the App Store confirms the payment — if a payment is pending (for example Ask to Buy), it appears automatically once approved. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Will my progress move to a new iPhone or iPad?

Yes, when iCloud is turned on for your devices, your stars and records sync between them. Leaderboards and achievements follow your Game Center account.

How do I change ad or privacy choices?

In the app, go to Settings › Privacy choices (shown in regions where consent applies). Tracking can be turned off in iOS under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Buying No Ads removes the ads between levels. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Where do new levels come from?

New packs and daily puzzles download automatically in the background — no update needed. They're saved on your device, so you can keep playing offline.
