Dotto

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Dotto (“the app”) is a puzzle game made by Eduard Pantazi (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app and this website use, why, and the choices you have. We don't require an account, and we don't sell your personal data.

1. Data stored on your device

Your game progress (stars, best times, hints, daily streak and settings) is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled on your device, the same progress may be synced between your devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. We can't access this data.

2. Game Center

If you're signed in to Game Center, the app submits your scores (total stars, perfect levels, daily puzzle time) and achievement progress to Apple's Game Center so they appear on leaderboards. This is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. The game works fully without Game Center.

3. In-app purchases

Purchases (No Ads, hint bundles, Dotto Premium) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; the app only receives confirmation of what you bought so it can unlock it.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob: an optional rewarded ad you can watch for a free hint, and occasional ads between levels (never in your first session or first levels, and never if you bought No Ads or Premium). To serve and measure ads, Google may process:

If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent tool. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings › Privacy choices, and turn tracking off in iOS under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Without consent, you may still see non-personalised ads. Learn more in How Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

5. New levels and this website

The app downloads new level packs from dotto.eduardpantazi.eu. These requests contain no personal information beyond what any web request does (IP address, device/app user agent). The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep short-lived technical logs for security and reliability under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We don't use analytics or tracking cookies on this website.

6. Children

Dotto is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. Because we don't keep personal data on our own servers, most of these rights are exercised directly: delete the app (and its iCloud data) to remove your progress, use Settings › Reset progress in the app, and manage ad consent as described above. For data held by Apple or Google, see their policies. You can also contact us, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The “last updated” date above shows the latest version.
